Ceiling fan installation requires a fan-rated box, proper blade balance for the room size, and correct wiring for the light and motor circuits. We install your fan securely, wire both the motor and light to separate switches where possible, and balance the blades before we leave.
Almost always mechanical. Wobble is caused by unbalanced blade weight — either from a bent blade bracket, inconsistent blade pitch, or a balance weight that's needed on one blade. We check all blade brackets for equal pitch, and if needed, use a blade balancing kit to eliminate the wobble. Wiring has nothing to do with it.
Yes, provided the existing box is fan-rated. A standard light fixture box is not rated for the dynamic load of a spinning fan. If your current box is the pancake type screwed directly to a joist, it may be fine — if it's a plastic clip box in the drywall, it needs to be replaced before we mount the fan.
