We install .032 aluminum K-style gutter as the standard. Aluminum doesn't rust, holds paint well, and is the right choice for Connecticut's climate. We can also install copper on historic or custom homes where appearance is the priority.
One downspout per 35–40 linear feet of gutter run is the general guideline. Larger roof surfaces, steeper pitches, or long runs without adequate drainage can lead to overflow even with clean gutters — proper outlet placement is part of the install design.
